Fresh Sandwiches and Baked Goods Await at San Diego's Influx Cafe Near Avalon Fashion Valley

Since Influx Cafe's kitchen team bakes their own rolls, croissants, and bagels in-house, you can always expect sandwiches stuffed inside any of the above to taste extremely fresh. Try a toasted bagel sandwich with peanut butter, apples, and a dash of cinnamon; or the croissant melt with Black Forest ham and brie cheese. Bagel scrambles come stuffed with eggs and your choice of meats and veggies, a filling way to start your day.If you come to the Golden Hill Influx Cafe for lunch, freshly baked wheat, white, and focaccia breads star in sandwiches stuffed with tofu, turkey, ham, and a range of other fresh ingredients.

However, you don't have to stay and eat an entire sandwich if you're in a hurry. You can also grab one to go, or pick up something smaller. The bakery also offers fresh scones, danishes, and other pastries—even cupcakes. Many locals highly recommend the blackberry muffin. Pair it with a cup of coffee or a specialty espresso drink (perhaps the popular vanilla latte) and continue your commute from Avalon Fashion Valley to work.

Petco Park's In-Stadium Restaurants Showcase the Beauty Surrounding Avalon Fashion Valley in San Diego

San Diego's Petco Park takes full advantage of the natural beauty of the area. Even when you're watching the Padres play at their home field, which isn't far from Avalon Fashion Valley, you can still enjoy views of the surrounding city and its legendary beauty if you grab a drink or meal at one of these in-stadium restaurants:

  • Stone Brewery. Only recently debuted, Stone Brewery has already garnered buzz for its pretty rooftop view from the upper deck. The bay view isn't the only reason to visit Stone Brewery, though. This bar also boasts 12 different types of brews from Stone Brewing Company, so pick your pint and enjoy.
  • Ballast Point Brewery. Technically, Ballast Point Brewery doesn't have panoramic views, but its spot on the Garden Level spot is still picturesque. That's thanks to the splashy murals of fish painted on its walls and the outdoor seating area. Sip a signature cocktail or an artisanal beer while you enjoy the atmosphere.
  • Rimel's Rotisserie. Like Stone Brewery, Rimel's Rotisserie resides on a rooftop in Petco Park. It used to be a private space, but today you can grab some wok rice bowls, grilled mahi-mahi tacos, pot stickers.

To find out more about the Padres and their home field, head to Petco Park's website.
