Order the Tri Tips at Wood Ranch, Just a Short Distance From Eaves Los Feliz

Much time and preparation goes into the tri tips that are served at Wood Ranch. Maybe that's why customers rave about the Los Angeles eatery's popular menu item. It actually takes an entire day to prepare the tri tips before they arrive at your table.

To see for yourself what the fuss is all about, make the short trip from Eaves Los Feliz to Wood Ranch. The tri tips are first slow-roasted overnight. Then, they are grilled over a mesquite wood fire and coated with sauce. Actually, all of the dishes here are prepared with such care. The Angus beef prime rib, fresh chicken, and the premium American baby back pork ribs receive similar treatment. The result is flavor-infused dishes with meat cooked just right. Whatever you order, complement your main dish with a side of mac and cheese or garlic rolls. Consider ending your meal with the warm chocolate cake or the deep dish peach cobbler. After a visit here, you'll likely see why Wood Ranch won the Los Angeles Daily News's award for Best BBQ for six consecutive years.

Cruzer Pizza and Pasta Near Eaves Los Feliz: Vegan Italian Food

Cheese doesn't have to contain dairy in order to taste delicious. Daiya, a vegan cheese manufacturer, has been proving that for more than five years now. Plant-based Daiya products closely mimic cow's milk cheese in both texture and taste, which is why Los Angeles' Cruzer Pizza and Pasta uses them. The eatery is entirely vegan, so no animal products are allowed inside its kitchen. However, customers say that its Daiya-topped pizzas are just as appetizing as the real thing.

Order your pie with meat-free pepperoni or sausage and a medley of veggies for a filling (and healthy) meal. You could even piece together an entire meal from Cruzer's popular appetizers, which range from cheesy bread sticks to veggie-based "meatballs" to potato skins. The Palm Near Eaves Los Feliz: A Classic American Steakhouse by Italy Natives

The Palm may be a household name today, but it wasn't before 1926. That was the year that Italy natives John Ganzi and Pio Bozzi decided to make their New York City restaurant official. When they went to register it, their thick Italian accents led the employee to believe they were saying, "The Palm"—in fact, they wanted to name their restaurant after Parma, Italy, their hometown.

This snafu didn't set them back for long, though. Over the next century, Bozzi and Ganzi's Palm restaurants gained a bigger and bigger following until they popped up in nearly every major city. One of them resides near Eaves Los Feliz in Los Angeles, and you can head here for the same traditional steaks and seafood that The Palm served in the early 20th century. Try the filet mignon or signature lobster, and was down your meal with a glass of wine or a craft cocktail.
