Country Kitchen Near Avalon at Lexington Hills: Don't Miss the Turkey Club

With no tables, no wait staff, and no conventional storefront, you might think Country Kitchen wouldn't have much to offer, but Yelp reviewers vehemently disagree. They say that this casual eatery tucked away in a former private cottage (painted a bright yellow) dishes out some of the area's best sandwiches—and the line you'll often see snaking out the door seems to back this claim.

Make the short drive from Avalon at Lexington Hills to Country Kitchen and join the queue. Since the counter service is quick, you shouldn't have long to wait before getting your hands on one of the deli's locally famous sandwiches. Regulars highly suggest ordering the turkey club. Stuffed between two pieces of toast, Country Kitchen's turkey will probably leave an impression on your taste buds. The kitchen team roasts and slices it in-house, directly on to your sandwich. With the addition of cranberry sauce and stuffing, the turkey club makes for a filling meal at Country Kitchen.
