Edward M. Schulman serves as Executive Vice President, Legal Affairs of Vivmark Residential, working closely with the Chief Executive Officer and General Counsel. Prior to the formation of Vivmark, Mr. Schulman served as Executive Vice President — General Counsel and Secretary of AvalonBay Communities since 2012, having joined the Company in February 1999 and served as General Counsel throughout his tenure. Before joining AvalonBay, he was a corporate and securities law partner at Goodwin Procter LLP.
Mr. Schulman received his J.D. from Harvard Law School and his undergraduate degree from Princeton University.
