Leadership

Sean J. Breslin serves as Executive Vice President and Chief Investment and Growth Officer of Vivmark Residential, leading the Company's investments platform, including portfolio allocation strategy, acquisitions, dispositions, third-party capital relationships, investments and new business opportunities. Data & Analytics and Market Research also report to him.

Prior to the formation of Vivmark, Mr. Breslin served as Chief Operating Officer of AvalonBay Communities from January 2015, with responsibility for property and centralized operations, technology, revenue management, marketing and innovation. He previously served as AvalonBay's Executive Vice President—Investments and Asset Management and held additional senior roles in redevelopment and investments since joining the Company in 2002. Prior to AvalonBay, he was Chief Operating Officer of CWS Capital Partners.

Mr. Breslin is a member of the Executive Committee of the National Multi Housing Council and is past Chair of ULI's Multifamily Council. He is also a member of the Executive Committee of the Real Estate Finance and Investment Center at the University of Texas at Austin and a member of the Board of Directors of the American Red Cross. He received his Bachelor's Degree from California State University, Long Beach and his Master of Business Administration from the University of Texas.
